The landscape of our digital worlds is made from 1s and 0s and yet, in our day-to-day lives as web developers, we rarely think about them or operate at such lower level. But you can do binary operations in JavaScript, you can manipulate single or multiple bits with incredibly flexibility! This short talk is not long enough to build, step by step, a real life example of useful binary manipulation, but this blog post by Dan Prince will show you the gains of such approach.
